Yes. We scan and measure the existing component, reconstruct the CAD model and produce manufacturing drawings, then have the replacement made and inspected through our manufacturing network.

What happens if the original part is badly worn or damaged?

Dimensional verification is combined with engineering judgement about the original design intent, mating parts and fits, so the replacement is made to the correct geometry rather than a copy of the wear.
